Brahmanbaria Railway Station is one of the most significant railway stations in Bangladesh’s Chittagong division, which is located in the Sadar Upazila of the Brahmanbaria district. The Assam Bengal Railway Company, founded in England in 1892, was in charge of building railways throughout the country. The 150-kilometer meter gauge line from Chittagong to Comilla and the 69-kilometer railway section from Laksam to Chandpur were both opened to the public on July 1, 1895. In 1896, the Comilla-Akhaura-Shahbazpur railway was built. The private Laksam-Noakhali railway branch was established in 1903 and is managed by the Assam-Bengal Railway. The government bought the railway in 1905 and integrated it with the Assam-Bengal Railway on January 1, 1906. Connecting 1910 and 1914, the railway line between Tongi and Bhairab-Akhaura was built. The Brahmanbaria railway station was established on the Tongi-Akhaura line.
