Grading Point System for JSC/Equivalent Exam
The Education Ministry of Bangladesh has decided to introduce the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 4 for the results of the upcoming JSC exams in the country. With this method, Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Junior School Certificate examiners will no longer get GPA-5. The Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni recently had a meeting with the Coordination Committee of the Inter Education Board where he instructed to draw up a draft after reorganizing the grading system. While speaking with journalists, the President and the Chairman of the Inter Education committee, Professor Muhammad Ziaul Haque said: “In the meeting with the Inter Board coordination committee, everyone agreed to publish the results followed by scale 4 instead of CGPA-5”. So, we said that this year, all three public exams grading point system will be changed.
