JSC Exam 2020 Syllabus
National Curriculum and Text Book (NCTB) has been published a new and reformed JSC exam syllabus. We are all already informed that 200 marks of the JSC curriculum have been reduced and, before this decision, we were going through a situation of confusion. After the passing five months in 2018, we listened to this type of decision. Some of us have expressed their opinion that they will put pressure on the JSC and JDC candidates and will leave negative impacts on the minds of the students. They will not have enough time to prepare for subsequent exams. But NCTB has already published the new curriculum and sample questions for the candidates. So our thoughts are over. I think it’s good for us to have a clear idea of the new curriculum and start studying for the exam. This new program will be applicable for 2018, 2019 and 2020. JSC 2020 syllabus with final marks distribution are-
- Bangla – 50 for each of the papers.
- English- 50 for each of the papers.
- Math- 100
- General Science-100
- Bangladesh and Global Studies-100
- Religion- 100

Marks | Point | Letter Grade |
---|---|---|
80-100 | 4.00 | A+ |
70-79 | 3.75 | A |
60-69 | 3.50 | A- |

40-49 | 3.00 | C |
33-39 | 2.75 | D |
0-32 | 0.00 | F |
Earlier we saw that the highest score was GPA-5.00, but in 2020 it has been changed. This year CGPA-4.00 counts as the highest grade. Not only has the highest point also changed. While in the highest GPA they reached 5.00 points this year will receive a maximum of 4.00. The passing marks can also be changed a little, but it is still not yet sure. If a student reaches “A+”, the grades will be between 80 and 100 and they will get 4.00 points. Meanwhile, those who obtain “A” grade, their marks remain at 69+ and get 3.75 points. Like this count “A-“grade when the marks between 59+ and the point are 3.50. In the same style, more than 49 marks were assigned as “B” grade and the GPA is 3.25. Once again, over 39 obtain marks count “C” and more than 33 have been counted “D” grade. The average GPA is 3.00 for grade C and 2.75 is for grade D.
